How to Upload Audio Files
EditAudio.Online supports multiple ways to upload your audio files:
- Drag & Drop: Simply drag your audio file from your computer and drop it onto the upload area
- Click to Browse: Click the upload button to open your file browser and select an audio file
- Paste from Clipboard: If you have an audio file copied to your clipboard, you can paste it directly

Audio Editing Guide
How to Cut and Trim Audio
Cutting and trimming audio is one of the most common editing tasks. Here's how to do it:
- Upload your audio file and wait for the waveform to load
- Click and drag on the waveform to select the section you want to keep or remove
- Use the selection tools to fine-tune your selection
- Click "Cut" to remove the selected section, or "Trim" to keep only the selected section
- Preview your changes using the play button
- Download your edited file when satisfied
Adjusting Audio Volume
You can adjust the volume of your entire audio file or specific sections:
- Global Volume: Use the volume slider to adjust the entire file's volume
- Normalize: Automatically adjust volume to optimal levels
- Fade In/Out: Add smooth volume transitions at the beginning or end
- Section Volume: Select a section and adjust its volume independently
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
"File format not supported" Error
This usually means your file is in an unsupported format or corrupted. Try converting your file to MP3 or WAV format first.
Slow Performance or Freezing
Large files may take longer to process. Try using a smaller file or closing other browser tabs to free up memory.
Audio Not Playing
Check your browser's audio settings and ensure your device's volume is turned up. Some browsers may block autoplay.
